Komponist / Orchestrator / Arrangeur
Andreas Lange ist Komponist, Arrangeur und Orchestrator für Film, TV und Musical. Er orchestrierte die Filmmusik für eine Vielzahl von beliebten und erfolgreichen deutschen und internationalen Kino- und TV-Produktionen. Zu seinen Arbeiten zählen u. a. die Orchestrationen zu DER MEDICUS, DIE VERMESSUNG DER WELT, FREE WILLY - RETTUNG AUS DER PIRATENBUCHT und zu allen HANNI & NANNI-Kinofilmen.
Er arrangierte und orchestrierte für viele renommierte Komponisten wie z. B. Hollywood-Komponist Harold Faltermeyer, Grammy-Gewinner Alex Geringas, Joachim Schlüter, Martin Lingnau, Enis Rotthoff und arbeitete mit Nic Raine & Udo Jürgens bei den Orchesteraufnahmen zu dem Film DER MANN MIT DEM FAGOTT. Seine Arrangements und Orchestrationen wurden von bekannten Orchestern wie dem Deutschen Filmorchester Babelsberg, dem City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, dem Slovak National Symphony Orchestra und dem RSO Wien eingespielt.
Andreas studierte an der HMT Hannover Trompete und Komposition. Im Anschluss absolvierte er ein Aufbau-Studium an der Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen „Konrad Wolff“ Potsdam-Babelsberg (heute: Filmuniversität Babelsberg) im Fach „Filmmusik-Komposition“. 2007 wurde er ausgewählt, am ASCAP TV & Film Scoring Workshop mit Richard Bellis in Los Angeles teilzunehmen, wo er die Gelegenheit hatte, das Hollywood Studio Orchestra mit einer eigenen Komposition in der 20th Century Fox Newman Stage zu dirigieren.
Er komponierte Musik in den Bereichen Film (Shortcutz Berlin Award 2012 „Best Original Score“ für den Film REPITU) und Theater (Hans Otto Theater Potsdam), zudem gewann er mehrere Preise für seine Kompositionen für symphonisches Blasorchester.
Andreas lebt und arbeitet in Berlin.

Andreas Lange is a composer, arranger and orchestrator for film, TV and musical. He orchestrated the film scores for many popular and successful German and international cinema and TV productions. His works include the orchestrations for THE PHYSICIAN, MEASURING THE WORLD, FREE WILLY: ESCAPE FROM PIRATE’S COVE and all HANNI & NANNI movies.
He arranged and orchestrated for numerous renowned composers, e.g. Hollywood composer Harold Faltermeyer, Grammy Award winner Alex Geringas, Joachim Schlüter, Martin Lingnau, Enis Rotthoff, and he collaborated with Nic Raine & Udo Jürgens during the scoring sessions for the movie THE MAN WITH THE BASSOON. His arrangements and orchestrations have been recorded by well-known orchestras like the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg (Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg), the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, the Slovak National Symphony Orchestra and the RSO Vienna.
Andreas has studied trumpet and composition at the HMT Hanover. Subsequently he completed a postgraduate course in film composition at the Academy for Film and TV “Konrad Wolff” Potsdam-Babelsberg (HFF), now Filmuniversity Babelsberg. In 2007 he was selected to participate in the ASCAP TV & Film Scoring Workshop with Richard Bellis where he had the opportunity to conduct the Hollywood Studio Orchestra at the 20th Century Fox Newman Stage with a composition of his own.
He has composed music for film (Shortcutz Berlin Award 2012 “Best Original Score” for the film REPITU) and theater (Hans Otto Theater Potsdam). Furthermore he has won several awards for his compositions for symphonic band.
Andreas is living and working in Berlin.
